Desert Upland Guide Service is an owner-operated hunting guide service that specializes in the pursuit of Gambel’s quail and other upland game species located in Arizona. While the guide service focuses on the pursuit of upland game, an emphasis is placed on sporting dog work, education, and conservation and awareness of the species and their habitat.
Guided hunts involve one to two clients per daily outing with the assistance of a trusty pointing dog to pursue wild upland game species. Clients' gun dogs are welcome, too!
All activities are conducted on Arizona public lands during hunting season - October 13, 2023 - February 11, 2024. Areas where hunts occur depend on prior scouting by the guide, habitat, and quail numbers.
While hunts may consist of overland travel in backcountry, remote wilderness areas, they do require overnight camping. Clients are provided with recommended local lodging or pre-designated campsite options. Multiple day trips are available.
Rates:
$300 per day (one client)
$350 per day (two clients)
